Emu Plains Sport & Recreation Club overlooking the Leonay Golf Course and located at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney.  The Club features a Bistro & main lounge which seats approximately 300+ guests and has views of the golf course, a café area and a busy functions trade with 2 function rooms capable of seating 10 to over 150 guests

Head Chef

The Club is looking for an experienced Full Time Head Chef to lead our Catering team and be a part of the operation  in our newly refurbished club.

To be the successful candidate you will:

• Have strong hygiene focus and communication skills

• Trade qualifications for Chef positions

• Lead and motivate team members

• Eye for detail and provide excellent service delivery of the team

• Manage ordering and stock rotation

• Manage Daily blackboard specials and seasonal menu development

• Able to achieve budgets and target GP on food cost and wages

• Kitchen Cleanliness and compliance with regulations as required

• Positive attitude

• Ability to multi-task and have great time management skills

• Ability to take direction and follow standard recipes

• Must be able to work split shifts and weekends

• Must have working knowledge of HACCP and food safety policies.

Sous Chef 

The Club is looking for an experienced Full Time Sous Chef to assist our Catering team and be a part of the operation  in our newly refurbished club.

The Club is looking for an experienced Full Time Chef de Partie to assist our Catering team and be a part of the operation  in our newly refurbished club.

Kitchen Hand

The Club is looking for an experienced Full Time or Causal  Kitchen Hand to assist our Catering team and be a part of the operation  in our newly refurbished club.
To be the successful candidate you will:

• Kitchen Cleanliness and compliance with regulations as required

• Positive attitude

• Ability to multi-task and have great time management skills

• Ability to take direction

• Must be able to work nights split shifts and weekends

Club Attendant 

The Club is looking for an experienced Full Time and  Causal Club attendant to assist our  team and be a part of the operation  in our newly refurbished club.

To be the successful candidate you will:

• Strong work ethic

• Multi-tasking abilities

• Must have RSA and RCG qualifications

• Greeting all customers and projecting a positive, motivated and friendly image to guests and staff

• Assisting with all customer enquiries, or requests regarding products and services

• Providing a hygienic environment by assisting in general cleaning duties to maintain an orderly and tidy venue

• Preparation and serving of beverages including cocktails and coffees

• Cash Handling

• Processing TAB and Keno transactions

• Provide drink tray service to patrons

• Process Poker Machine payouts

• Fix minor machine faults

• Process membership applications

• Ensuring correct sign in procedures are followed

The Club operates  Monday - Thursday from 10am – 10.30pm, and Fridays 10am- 2am, Saturdays from 9am - 2am, Sundays 10am-10pm.
